Tuesday's loose ends...

A couple of loose ends before we're off to watch the Lady Terps take on the Devils in the NCAA women's basketball tournament.

Tired of all that "liberal bias" in the Sun. Well, here's your chance to vote with your eyes -- or your mice, depending on how you consume your news. A new paper, the Baltimore Examiner, is coming to the city and some of the suburbs with what it calls a "second opinion" on the news. This is the third paper for Clarity Media Group, a Denver-based company owned by conservative billionaire Philip F. Anschutz. The Examiner came to Washington, D.C. about a year ago, where it has failed to capture a large audience. Patuxent Publishing has, apparently, been preparing for this for some time, now.

Interestingly, the Examiner's entrance into the market comes at the same time the "liberal" Sun teams up with the "conservative" WBAL radio station. Not sure what to make of that, but there it is.

Whew, we came this close to losing the only (as far as I know) stripper-turned-model, gun-rights activist, Oriole wife we had. Anna Benson, thank you for honoring the sanctity of marriage.
