Or, Abbzug's almost-birthday post.
In honor of the

I know, another picture of the dog. You're probably wondering when I'll run out of them. Not any time soon. My iPhoto library contains 8201 pictures and probably more than half involve the dog.
Anyway, Happy Birthday (tomorrow) Abbzug!
(Does this post get me out of buying a present?)
I'll second the happy birthday wishes!
ReplyDeleteDogs. How to describe the unconditional adoration bestowed on owners of dogs? I love cats as well, but the topic here is dogs.
ReplyDeleteThe breed will extract (prompt?) varying responses from owners. A husky is enormously amusing to the point of regular laugh-fests from owners who are (hopefully) out of earshot of dogless humans. Retrievers bring out the nurturing side of us, a dog that has been rescued brings out the healing component, a watch-dog works as a team and invokes the team effort mode.
But the husky, so playful and smart, brings out the trusting companion in humans. My sister's husky is truly the most gorgeous dog I've ever seen. Photo forthcoming. Dog beauty contest herewith pronounced (if that's not English, then I made it up on purpose). And most entertaining story, most sad good-bye, most friendly, most athlethic, most personable. What's your dog? Most regular guy/gal.
Actually, I know a person who is like a husky. No joke.
Thanks Freemarket!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I hadn't thought of the Birth month idea, but I do celebrate the 24th of every month - much to my husband's chagrin! But your way has more days... Hummm...
ReplyDeleteLove Mr. Finch - I'll have to send along a picture of Merlin, my Red/White husky. We have a dog hammock and he's in his element rigt now, out in the snow, chillin. Yes, he's my favorite thing in the world also, my heart and soul. Likely sounds strange to non-husky people...
Have a great Day,
M
