Since you've come out for the downtown development expect Liz Bobo's minions to to turn your race into a major political race. Be ready for the dirty side of local politics. The good news is there is a lot of people that will come to your assistance.

Good for you, Hayduke. I even live in Oakland Mills, so I can (and will!) vote for you. I agree, though, that it will be a tough race.

I am glad to see a fresh perspective and maybe someone who can get along with the rest of the Board and get CA to step up more for OM.

Bobo and her group are ruthless, relentless and unwilling to compromise. Be careful.

  10. Holy People Tree!

I just got back in town and saw this post. This is good news indeed.

    Way to go Hayduke!

I will tell everyone I know in Oakland Mills to get out the vote. That is your best chance to unseat BR.

WB: Yes, turn out will be key. Not only is it time for fresh blood on the board, it's also time for some in the voting booth.

I'm all for young people voting more often.

But God willing, you'll all be old someday too!

I heard something recently that thoroughly applies: Inside every old person is a young person who is really, really surprised.
