Make you think they got the all-seein' eye...

The county’s now offering data layers for Google Earth.

Cool.

Anyone know if there's a way to add the paths from Dan's map, too?

I have seen county map's that have the entire county's bike path system it is propbibly an easy transfer for the county since is it a data file. It might be worth exploring. It looks like the map Dan & Co. have been working on has some quarks (don't get me wrong, I like the idea and the effort). I also believe that "average" (I use it that term its broadest meaning :) person would use google earth before any other program or service. It is probibly just because more people are used to it.

Yes, indeed, that software is very buggy. Plus there's been a fair share of operator error :) The county seems amenable to sharing the data if I can figure out what format we need etc...I just need a rainy weekend to spend some time with it. Or some coding wizard out here to lend a hand!
