Come and check it out and join us at the Community Connection Gathering! Here’s how it works…you come and hang out in the lounge at the Fire Rock Grill. Get a little nosh and some drink, and connect with your neighbors, village leaders (both formal and informal), county leadership, and CA leadership and program folks. Learn about what’s going on in the village, share your ideas, hear about other folks’ ideas, and generally be in community without attending a single committee meeting and without anybody signing you up for anything! Easy, fun, and delicious! Bring yourself and a few bucks to buy something to drink and eat!I'll be there. How about you?

It was a great event with a surprisingly high turnout. I would estimate that 75-100 people were there in the course of the evening. The Fire Rock staff was literally sprinting to keep up with food and beverage requests. Topics of discussion were varied and interesting, including; ideas for streetscapes in the Village Center, who is moving into the bank building(s), what's going on with Blandair Park, and highlights of Barbara's recent trip to Hawaii. Lots of laughs and good vibes. Looking forward to the next one!
