How about some pictures from the last night at the City Fair?
Hmm. That picture doesn't fully capture the fireworks experience. A video, perhaps?

Typical of county (or city) fairs, everything but the fireworks and two of the rides were kind of lame. Maybe I am spoiled, but even the band left something to be desired. Overall, I was unimpressed.
I see Freemarket in one of those pics!
I see Freemarket, he is in the first picture, he is the one wearing a white shirt. I am sure it is him.
No, I am not wearing a white shirt, and my face is way to blurry to recognize. You would have to know where I was sitting and what I was wearing to pick me out.
Just out of curiosity what would have made it better?
Personally speaking, I was really put off by some of the "vendors" pushing their products. We were all but chased down by a basement lady and a boyscout guy. I expect (and am annoyed by) that type of hard sell by those kiosks in the mall, but at the city fair?
I'd like to have seen some bigger names in the musical performances. The music was a little bland (albeit REALLY loud on Friday).
Lastly, it seemed as though not all of the rides were functioning. Besides the kiddie rides, only the Hurricane and Fireball were running. What about the Kamikaze and Ring of Fire?
I greatly enjoyed the arts and crafts vendors and the fireworks.
In terms of accosting people, the church was the worst. It was right in the narrow corridor by Clydes and they created such a bottleneck telling you to see Jesus.
Well? Did you see him?
